Days 2 and 3

Things have been so busy here! Yesterday was a LONG day of walking around the city for a tour. It was a lot of information, but also very interesting. Professor Freeman had to speed our tour guide up so we could make it to the capital building.
The building was so crazy! We went through so many security measures just to get inside. Then we went to the glass dome and used an audio tour to go to the very top. I LOVED it. I learned so much about so many places in Berlin and got to see the city from a completely different view. I also saw this precious little boy.

That night it started to pour, so we hung out in the hotel for a while until we decided to have a group meal at Al Dente, which was one of my favorite meals so far! I didn't know what I was ordering, but what I got was delicious.

Today was our first free day. We all slept in and caught up on sleep. Then a few of us walked around our neighborhood to explore. It is so much cuter than I initially thought. The buildings are beautiful and there are all of these adorable little local shops and cafes. I found a subject for my project! I found a coffee shop, and the owner is from Washington D.C. I am going back tomorrow to interview and take pictures. Later, we tried going to a different part of town for Alex's project, and things were a little sketchy. We ate at a different biergarten and I got delicious tortellini then came back to the hotel.
It's been a relaxing day!
